The Harvard Club in Concord has about 140 members from ten towns in the Boston Metrowest area: Acton, Bedford, Carlisle, Concord, Lincoln, Littleton, Maynard, Stow, Sudbury, and Wayland.  Our mission is to:

  • foster a spirit of fellowship among graduates and former students;
  • increase awareness of the aims and achievements of Harvard University;
  • and promote communication with the faculties and students of area schools.

We are busy every year coordinating alumni interviews of applicants from local public and private high schools.  We also distribute the Harvard Book Prize every year to two very deserving juniors (one boy and one girl) at each school.

We offer a variety of programs throughout the year to appeal to the diverse interests of our members.  Past activities include: jazz night at the Acton Jazz Cafe, the Harvard-Yale game at Sky restaurant in Sudbury, dinner and the Hasty Pudding show, a tour of the Harvard observatory, and a screening of a film directed by one of our members.

Each membership year ends with our Annual Dinner in June.  The highlight of the evening (aside from the great food and the good company) is a distinguished speaker from Harvard University or beyond.

The Harvard Club in Concord is a member of the Global Pass program.
