Welcome to the Harvard Club of Monaco
We are chartered as an "association monegasque" by the Monaco government (approval received on February 15, 2002).

The Club AGM was held on the 16th of June at La Saliere restaurant in Monaco.  The meeting was followed by dinner with Mr Dan Luger, an English rugby union player and a former England international who is currently playing wing for RC Nice.  Dan left us with a heightened apprecation for the meaning of teamwork .

This year's Harvard Book Prize has been awarded to Florence Albert, a student at the Lycee Albert 1er who is working toward achieving a Baccalaureat in Sociology in 2010.

Our annual Christmas Drinks Party, held jointly with INSEAD and Oxford, Cambridge and Trinity Dublin, took place, as in prior years, on the premises of EFG Bank on December 12th.  Over 70 guests enjoyed the opportunity to meet and ring in the festive season.

In the third week of November, the Harvard Club of Monaco hosted a three day event culminating in American University Discovery Day on Saturday, November 22nd, which was attended by 185 parents and students interested in learning about going to university in the US.  On Thursday, November 20th, Robin Worth, Director of International Admissions at Harvard College, was the guest of honor at cocktails and dinner.  Prince Albert II of Monaco honored us with his presence at cocktails.  Approximately 20 professional educators from Monaco and the surrounding region profitted from an information session on Friday, November 21st.  Click on News to view presentation highlights and see photos from this event.

The Harvard Club of Monaco is a participant in the HAA Global Membership Program ("Global Pass") and welcomes members of other Harvard Clubs to its events.  In addition, we are partnering with Harvard University's Minda de Gunzberg Center for European Studies (CES) to develop liaisons between the Club and Harvard students interested in Europe.  We hope to be able to offer one or more internships for summer 2009.  See the CES Home Page for more information.
