Welcome to the Harvard Club
of Southern Connecticut

Encouraging the enrollment of qualified students in the University
Promoting service and collegiality among area alumni
Fostering excellence and opportunity among young people in our communities

The Harvard Club of Southern Connecticut is a member of the
HAA Global Pass program

Summer Community Service Fellowship Program

The Club awarded its first two Fellowships in the summer of 2006 and has continued to bring this opportunity to Harvard undergraduates and to our local organizations since. We are delighted to support the endeavors of these Harvard undergraduates whose work has included the improvement of reading literacy, fundraising advocacy for cancer research, the role of law and the environment, and nature conservancy.

The Club is currently accepting applications for our Summer of 2009 awards. Navigate to the "News" section for details.

These fellowships have been established by the Club to support work that helps people meet their needs for food, shelter, and health; improves education and employment opportunities; educates people about their legal and/or civil rights; protects the environment or wildlife; or supports social issues affecting the general welfare.

Alumni who know of work opportunities for this terrific program should contact the Club's Summer Community Service Fellowship Chairman Ted Skowronski.

Alumni, family, and friends gather in the spring for our Spring Nature Walk at the Bent of the River Audubon Preserve in Southbury
