Welcome from our Club President

It is my great pleasure to serve as President of your Harvard Club of Northeast Ohio. Last year we were able to offer a variety of activities for our membership. Speakers and topics included: Attorney Fred Nance, ’75 “Regional Economic Issues”; Sustainability expert David Beach, ’79, “Creating a Green City on a Blue Lake”; Professor Nicholas Jones, ’67, PhD ’73 “Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors at the Hanna Theater”, Professor Paul Peterson, Kennedy School of Government “What’s Wrong with American Education” and Curator Andria Derstine, ’91 “Oberlin Architecture Tour”. As you can see not only were the educational and social opportunities diverse, they were a showcase for the talents and generosity of our membership, our affiliates and our community.

I hope that this year you are able to join us for as many events as possible. Our events are a great opportunity to re-connect with classmates and old friends, meet current students and their parents, and enjoy the variety of cultural and educational offerings that your Board of Trustees has planned.
