Richard Soo Hoo Chairman
Richard Soo Hoo graduated from Salem High School, Salem, MA 1968, Harvard University in Chemistry BA 1972, and Stanford Graduate School of Business Finance and Accounting MBA 1974. He is a Massachusetts Certified Public Accountant and has worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Texas Instruments, Millipore, Wang, National Grid, Pentad, Scully, and FAS. He is married to Suzanne Soo Hoo and has one daughter Claudia. Richard has served on the Harvard Club of Andover Board of Directors since 1990.
Stephen Chapman graduated from the Harvard Business School AMP152 Program in 1997. He is a Global General Manager with significant line P&L responsibility and has been a Senior VP with experience in Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Information Technology and Operations for a $180 million industrial manufacturing company with worldwide distribution in 90 countries. In addition to his Senior VP duties, he was a Director of five companies: South Africa (2), Italy, Sweden and Germany. Hired, mentored and managed key players within the Chesterton organization while opening businesses all over the world i.e. Australia, Sweden, Germany, South Africa, UK and Netherlands. Mr. Chapman is currently a Business Consultant specializing in International Sales and organizational development.
Dennis Vecchi Vice President
Dennis Vecchi graduated from Harvard in 1985 with a degree in economics, and has spent his career in the group insurance field working for Prudential, Tufts Health Plan, and United Healthcare, and is currently a vice president in the human capital practice with the global insurance brokerage firm Willis. Dennis and his wife Chris (Special Educator in Lawrence) live in Andover and have 4 children. Their daughter Nicole is at Xavier University, their son Michael is at University of Maryland, and Anna and Samuel are at Andover High School.
Diane Huster Second Vice President
Huster received a Graduate Certificate in Management from Radcliffe Seminars (1994) and graduated from Boston University.Diane currently serves on the boards of Family Service Inc. of Lawrence, the Andover Sisters Town Association, and the North Andover Historical Society.She served as Chairman of the North Andover School Committee as Chairman for five terms and spearheaded campaigns to build four new schools on the North Andover School Building Committee. Diane also served on the Legislative committee of theMassachusetts Association of School Committees, as Secretary of the League of Women Voters of Massachusetts, and as President of theLeague of Women Voters of North Andover.
Stephanie Moore Treasurer
Stephanie Moore is a 1984 graduate of the Harvard Business School and holds a Baccalaureate degree in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Massachusetts-Boston (1978).She is president of Lasting Impressions Custom Design and Build, Inc. a general contracting company specializing in residential design and remodeling which she founded in 2002.Prior to 2002, Stephanie held technical management and executive positions at local companies, including Raytheon, Freudenberg Nonwovens, Medica Corp and Cabot Stains.Stephanie and her husband Stephen Levine live in Andover.They have 2 daughters, Deborah and Pamela, and 2 grandchildren.
Reid is currently on the Board of Directors of Enterprise Bank headquartered in Lowell; on the Dean’s Advisory Council for Northeastern University College of Professional Studies; on the Board of Family Service Inc. in Lawrence.As a Financial Executive, her career includes VP of Finance and Corporate Controller at Avid Technology, VP Internal Audit at Digital Equipment Corporation, and finance at Mobil Oil.She also taught and developed curriculum for the dental hygiene program at Middlesex Community College and mathematics at Andover East Junior High School.She graduated from the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development in 1988.She holds an MBA from Boston University and a BS from Northeastern University.She also completed the Advanced International Management Seminar at INSEAD Institute in Fontainebleau, France.She is married to Allen Townsend, has 2 adult sons, and resides in Andover.
Danh Dang is a software technology professional at Thomson Reuters, Magenic Technologies, Avanade Inc., and Andersen Consulting. Danh was active as President of the Harvard Vietnamese Association. He holds a Harvard Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics. Danh Dang resides in Andover with his wife and two daughters.
Dr. Fahlberg has a PhD in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Public Health in Population and International Health from Harvard. Prior to 1989 she worked as psychotherapist with victims and offenders of child sexual abuse. From 1989 to 1997 she lived in Brazil where she founded a social service/mental health clinic in a large favela (City of God) in Rio de Janeiro and initiated the first graduate program in Brazil in family violence at Pontificia Universidade Catolica. She has worked as a consultant for MASSCAP, TearFund,UNICEF, was a member of the Governor’s Commission for Domestic and Sexual Violence from 2003-2007, and was the Executive Director of ONE Lowell, a community based organization in Lowell, Massachusetts from 2002 -2010. As an adjunct professor, she has taught at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. She is currently pursuing her accreditation from the Association of Applied Sports Psychologists, where she will combine her expertise in violence with her experience in sports.

Larry Morsegraduated from Harvard in 1969 and Boston University School of Law in 1975. After practicing with Boston law firms for a number of years, he began practicing on the North Shore in 1987. He has been President of the Harvard Club of Andover since the early 1990s.In 2005, he instituted a tradition of recognition of individuals or groups who have provided outstanding public or private service, leadership or accomplishment to our society. Since then the award has been given to three individuals. In 2007, he arranged for the Club to incorporate. In 2008 -2009, with the rebuilding of the Club, the Officers and an expanded Board of Directors are providing unprecedented leadership and accomplishment in the breadth of events and outreach to the local alumni.
Joel Clinkenbeard graduated from Harvard in 1969 with a degree in math, and, after a stint in the Army, did graduate work at Harvard in linguistics. He spent his career as a software developer and manager at Digital Equipment Corporation, Compaq, and Intel, specializing in compilers and development tools. Joel and his wife Jeanette are both now retired. Their daughter Liz, Harvard '01, lives in San Francisco.
Janet Simpson Benvenuti graduated from Harvard Business School (1985) and holds an MS in chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Lowell (1982). Currently, she leads Circle of Life Partners, helping families successfully support aging parents and maintain their financial health. Janet has worked as a pharmaceutical executive, a scientist, an admissions officer at the Harvard Business School, and as a management consultant. She serves on several non-profit boards including the Marino Center for Integrative Health and the trustees of the Nashoba Brooks School. Married to Ray Benvenuti (MBA’86), Janet has two children, Eric (Hamilton College) and Katie (Phillips Academy).
JoAnn Ferraro is a Certified Public Accountant and a Director of Freshman & Ferraro, P.C. in Boston specializing in international taxation. She is a graduate of Gorham State College (now the University of Southern Maine) and Harvard University Extension’s CSS program in Management and Administration (1987). JoAnn is a member of the British American business Council of New England, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Public Accountants and the Harvard Club of Boston.
Mike Terrywas the owner of Specialized Machine, Inc. a manufacturing company specializing in naval communication antennas for Lockheed Martin and military prototypes including work on Predator and Trident Submarine. He was the 2011 recipient of Distinguished Service Award from Phillips Academy for work on Fundraising and past Co-President of the Parents' Association. Proud father of Jacqueline Lender class of 2016 Harvard.
