Harvard Club of Andover, Inc. Board of Directors Larry Morse (President) graduated from Harvard in 1969 and Boston University School of Law in 1975. After practicing with Boston law firms for a number of years, he began practicing on the North Shore in 1987. He has been President of the Harvard Club of Andover since the early 1990s.In 2005, he instituted a tradition of recognition of individuals or groups who have provided outstanding public or private service, leadership or accomplishment to our society. Since then the award has been given to three individuals. In 2007, he arranged for the Club to incorporate. In 2008 -2009, with the rebuilding of the Club, the Officers and an expanded Board of Directors are providing unprecedented leadership and accomplishment in the breadth of events and outreach to the local alumni.
Philip Fiske (Treasurer) is a Manager Director at Cambridge Associates, an international investment consulting firm. Phil has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a PhD in Computer, Information and Control Engineering from the University of Michigan. His two children also have Harvard ties -- Brian majored in Biochemical Sciences and graduated in 2007, and Courtney is currently a sophomore majoring in Social Studies. Stephen B. Chapman graduated from the Harvard Business School AMP152 Program in 1997. He is a Global General Manager with significant line P&L responsibility and has been a Senior VP with experience in Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Information Technology and Operations for a $180 million industrial manufacturing company with worldwide distribution in 90 countries. In addition to his Senior VP duties, he was a Director of five companies: South Africa (2), Italy, Sweden and Germany. Hired, mentored and managed key players within the Chesterton organization while opening businesses all over the world i.e. Australia, Sweden, Germany, South Africa, UK and Netherlands. Mr. Chapman is currently a Business Consultant specializing in International Sales and organizational development.
Leo Chabot, 72, North Andover, MA. Harvard Extension (Mgt. & Adm.) 1987, Boston University (communications) 1959; Rochester Institute of Technology (Spec. Studies.) 1963. Kennebunk, ME, High School, 1955 is a retired journalist. He served as Sunday Editor (Eagle-Tribune, MA), Chief Photographer (Charleston (WV) Gazette), Writer/Photographer (Bangor (ME) Daily News). His public service: includes the North Andover Zoning Task Force and North Andover Historical Commission. He is married to the former Connie Gauthier of Charleston and has five children. JoAnn Ferraro is a Certified Public Accountant and a Director of Freshman & Ferraro, P.C. in Boston specializing in international taxation. She is a graduate of Gorham State College (now the University of Southern Maine) and Harvard University Extension’s CSS program in Management and Administration (1987). JoAnn is a member of the British American business Council of New England, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Public Accountants and the Harvard Club of Boston. Joel Clinkenbeard graduated from Harvard in 1969 with a degree in math, and after a stint in the Army, did graduate work at Harvard in linguistics. He spent his career as a software developer and manager at Digital Equipment Corporation, Compaq, and Intel, specializing in compilers and development tools. Joel and his wife Jeanette have both recently retired. Their daughter Liz, Harvard class of 2001, lives in San Francisco. |
